Course objectives
After passing the course, students are able interpret and apply basic terms from theory and didactics of physical education and health education, principles, methods and forms of work applied in present conceptions of healthy oriented physical education and health education for children of pre-school age.
Syllabus
  • 1.Objectives and tasks of physical education and health education coming out from the Framework Education Programme for Preschool Education. 2.Educational fields Child and Their Body and Child and the Other – partial educational objectives, educational offer, expected outcomes and possible risks threatening the success of the educational plans. 3.Principles of didactics of physical education and health education for children of pre-school age and handicapped children. 4.An importance of games and entertaining activities in physical education and health education for children of pre-school age. 5.Physical education and health education in all-day regime of kindergartens, methods and forms, planning and differentiation of curriculum, differences in teaching disabled children.
