Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able: 1. to undrestand problems of characteristics of corpuses, their annotations, and markings. 2. to use Czech National Corpus; 3. to look up chosen language phenomena in corpuses of written Czech - SYN2000, SYN2005, SYN2010 as well as in corpuses of spoken Czech, e.g. ORAL 2008.

  • 4. Types of corpuses, characteristics of corpuses.
  • 5. Corpus managers.
  • 6. Annotated corpuses, markings.
  • 7. Types corpuses of ČNK.
  • 8. Use of CNC in Czech language teaching.
