- Abstract
- The objective of the course is to get the basic knowledge of the practical language. The attention is focused on the improving of the communicative skills trough the dialog, monologue and discusses in the ambit of actual conversational topics. At the end of the course students will be able to discuss the conversational topics; to apply acquired knowledge about grammar and vocabulary to communicate in Russian language.

- Into the contentual part of the subject have been inserted these basic conversational topics: 1. School, school system in our country and in Russia. 2. High school education. Structure of study. 3. Art in the young mans life. 4. Music. 5. Theatre. 6. Opera. 7. Cinema.

- Approaches, practices, and methods used in teaching
- Active work in seminars, fulfilling given tasks, autonomous working with press and internet, reading and listening in Russian language recommended.
- Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
- Written test based on the topics taught in the class. If the student reaches the pass mark in the written test, a discussion with the teacher will be held. The discussion will be based on the topics from the course, the reading (Russian book – 350 p.), the student will bring and show the book, and listening (audio, video, DVD). The correct grammar, content,vocabulary used, as well as pronunciation and intonation will be evaluated. The student will also provide a vocabulary exercise book, which will contain at least fifty new words.

- Doporučuji studentům průběžnou přípravu na každý seminář. Slovíčka je nejlépe se učit nikoli jako oddělená slova, ale jako celé fráze, příp. části vět a krátké věty. Na každou hodinu si připravte informaci z ruskojazyčného internetu. Vyhledávejte pouze ta témata, která jsou vám blízká a k nimž máte sami co říci. Obohatíte tak svou slovní zásobu novým lexikem. Výuka každého jazyka je věc náročná - nepodceňujte ji!
