Course objectives
At the end of the course students will be able to explain the Canon of the OT and the textual criticism of the OT, to understand the circumstances of the formation of the historical books of the 0T and to books of the Old Testament, and on the basis of the acquired knowledge to describe the literary and theological character of them.
Syllabus
  • 1Detailed introduction to all historical books of the Old Testament (including the circumstances of their formation, their literary characteristics, structure, content, theologies). Familiarization with the political and religious background of the Old Testament period.

credit=written test the written test consists of 10 questions, 60% of correct answers iss needed to pass.
