Course objectives

At the end of the course students should be able to: interpret an literary work, characterize the most important periods in the Development of German Literature

• Characteristic of following literary epochs: Barock Aufklärung Sturm und Drang Weimarer Klassik Romantik Vormärz Realismus Naturalismus Expressionismus Neue Sachlichkeit Literatur 1933-45 Trümmerliteratur Literatur nach 1950
