Prerequisites
In addition to monitoring the source-targeting of the regions to be able to create a complex structure of certain facts and the links to a centain territorial space of human togetherness. Prove to capture the historical development with all its attributes, to futher analyse it and apply in the teaching of history and related subjects.

Course objectives
Regional history in not a separate science discipline, are an integral part of the whole historiography. Repesent a specialisation within, the spa spatial subdivision. The course is desigved objective specific features and relations in to which they enter, people who live and work in a particular territory (region). The aim of the course is to familiar environment to show and get close to some of the development phase, and by documenting the broader context, in a nationwide process.
Learning outcomes
The Student will after completing the course able to understand and explain the basic questions of the content of the discipline. Regional themes can include into the content of history teaching to his popils property acquainted with development of a particular place and region in witch they live. Studens can work witsch regional sources an literature, the link is on an the national level and to carry out their thorough criticism. In the course of instruction will prepare the power-point presentation on their nearest location, which will be presented to colleagues and the other students.

  • 1. The essence of the mision and definition of the regional history in the context of historiography. 2. Relationship of regional history and homeland study. 3. Structure and understanding of the region. 4. Relationship of regional history and national history. 5. The history of the villages and towns. 6. The importance of chronicles in the regional work. 7. The topographical and local history projects. 8. Administrative and resident regionalization. 9. The regional history and ecology. 10. The geographical, linquistic component of the regional history. 11. The role of regional history in the teaching of history. 12. Cultural regionalistic.
