Course objectives
The aim of the course is that the student can play the song of smaller dimensions, which in technical terms corresponds with the of his individual abilities. The goal is to by the student to the maximum possible extent develope the ability to improvise an accompaniment to folk and artificial songs and to achieve the condition that the student will be able to transpose the three songs in all the shape of the type of the key.

  • 1. Concert composition 2. – 3. Improvisation accompanied by the unprepared folk songs 4. – 5. The transposition of three folk songs to all the shape of the type of key. 6. Practical exercises.
Assessment methods
Credit. The students have to play the studied piano piece (one piano composition from the Baroque to the present). Playing of 20 folk or artificial songs with transpositions (any overhead and lower second and third) and three folk songs with transpositions in all keys (major or minor). Homeworks. Duty to attend the classwork.
