The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
On the end of this course student can interpreted development of contemporary international and czech art in last periods and can the most important persons of contemporary art. The students know main galleries and their activities. Lectures are aimed at artistic, historical, aesthetic, psychological, anthropological and philosophical issues of art development in world art.
Syllabus
  • - action art - art museums - international art exhibitions - painting between generations - geometry and minimal today - concept - performance art - site specific - actually art activities Every lecture is some thematic discussion field with many questions in relationship to book Art without Revolutions? (Radek Horáček, 2015). This book and this lectures brings selective summary of the history of art in the second half of the 20th and the beginning of the 21th century. Apart from selected eras, artist and trends, contains the lectures information about the role of international exhibitions, art fair, museums, galleries and awards.
