Course objectives
The course is focused on the acquisition of French language skills in individual and group speech, on the development of improvisational abilities, on the emergency response in various situations and, above all, on the use of drama in the teaching process. Great attention is paid to correct pronunciation, intonation, word and movement improvisations. Part of the course is the interpretation of various dramatic texts, the acquisition of contemporary tendencies in French drama, knowledge of various authors of dramatic texts, including the authors of children's plays.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, students should be able to express themselves in a foreign language in different model situations and to include elements of drama education to practice various phenomena and acquire communication and intercultural competences.

  • 1. Text selection. 2. Short text interpretations. 3. Awareness of the word content and its expressing. 4. Expressing the feelings and emotions. 5. Work in th group. 6. Monologue and dialogue plays. 7. Motional and space interpretation of the text. 8. Improvisation on given themes. 9. Setting a poetic piece or short show. 10. Mutual evaluation and observations. 11. Didactic evaluation of elements of drama education in FLE teaching.
