Course objectives
At the end of this course student will be able to orientate himself in the period after the WWI. (1918-1938) that meant the growth of nationalism in various forms of fascism and on the other hand the growth of communism in Soviet Russia (USSR) and the Communist Parties in various countries in the world. Student will be able to create the "picture" of the democratical Czechoslovakia and its fight for existence.
Learning outcomes
They acquire knowledge of historical processes, facts and phenomena. It can characterize the key features of historical development.

1. Versailles peace. 2. Revolution and civil war in Russia. 3. Republic of Weimar. 4. Successional states. 5. Italian fascism. 6. Third imperium. 7. Stalin`s Russia. 8. Western democracies. 9. Czechoslovakia in post-war Europe. 10. Economic face of Czechoslovakia. 11. Life in the First Republic. 12. Democracy defends - the fight against Czechoslovakia. 13. From the Second Republic to the Protectorate.
