- Course objectives
- Neuropsychologie is a psychological discipline, which studies the relationship of brain and behavior and integrated into the psychology of knowledge neurology, neurophysiology, and in the field diagnosis and therapy. Studying requires repeat basic information from neurophysiology and neuroanatomie and an overview of some basic concepts of "Being and consciousness" of the history of philosophy. Neuropsychologie enables a deeper understanding of speciálnější all fundamental psychological categories of knowledge, through cognitive processes, emotion and motivation to some problems psychology of personality. Neuropsychologie allows knowledge of psychological problems such as laterality, specific developmental disorders of learning, sy. ADHD / ADD or a speech disorder (such as aphasia). Neuropsychologie knowledge is the foundation for the rehabilitation in the special education and counseling and clinical psychology.

- • Acquire the basic knowledge from the neuropsychology as the discipline which is defined by two fields – neurology and psychology
• Be able to make a full use of theory of special education concerning the education of individuals of special needs
• Express the term “plasticity of brain”, and its meaning according to the individuals with brain damage
• Be able to describe and explain principles of electroencephalography and its benefits - Syllabus
- 1. Subject of neuropsychology. Relationship neuropsychology and psychophysiology. Neuropsychologie and neurology. Neuropsychology development.
2. Philosophical and psychological foundations of neuropsychology. The problem of locating functions. Psychophysiology problem.
3. Construction and operation of the nervous system I. Neuron - structure, functions. Types of neurons. The concept of synapse.
4. Construction and operation of the nervous system II. Central nervous system. Spinal cord. Brainstem. Cerebellum. Mezimozek. Big brain.
5. Functional systems of a large brain. Left and right brain. Sensory systems. Fundamentals of electrophysiology NS. Electroencephalography. Evoked potentials.
6. The issue of consciousness and waking. Sleep, its progress and failure. Neuropsychology of attention.
7. Neuropsychology and psychophysiology of emotions. Neuropsychological problems of memory. Lurijovo concept neuropsychologie memory.
8. Neuropsychologie speech. Neuropsycholingvistika. Speech disorder. Aphasia - a notion classification.
9. Dysfázie development. Neuropsychological approach to learning development disorders.
10. Neuropsychological testing. Lurij's neurops. testing - Chart Christensen. Examples of other investigative methods: Minnesota test, test Boston, HALSTEAD-Reitanova th batteries and more.
11. Neuropsychological rehabilitation. Rehabilitation of individual mental functions, including speech.
