Současné pojetí speciální pedagogiky, systém péče o postižené, srovnání se zahraničím, možnosti integrace, legislativa. Základní terminologie, kategorie, metody a diagnostika ve speciální pedagogice. Etiologie, klasifikace jednotlivých poruch a vad, možnosti nápravy, aplikace ve výuce na 1. a 2.stupni ZŠ. Přehled speciálních zařízení pro výchovu a vzdělávání dle jednotlivých typů postižení. Prevence, poradenství.
