Course objectives
Educational and sociological aspects of selection of extracts from vocal, choral, solo, chamber and orchestral music, analysis of means musical exprassion in wxtracts selected from earlies works of music, trom examples of work of Romantic composers and vocal and instrumental works of 20th century composers.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Hudební klasicismus - vznik nových forem, sonáta, symfonie, instru- mentální koncert, smyčc. kvartet. J. Haydn, W.A. Mozart, L.van Beethoven. Přínos českých hudebníků v emigraci. Hudební romantismus - raný romantismus, novoromantismus, pozdní klasicko-romantická syntéza - osobnosti. Národní školy se zaměřením na českou hudbu. Nové stylové a směrové tendence v hudbě na přelomu století - impre- sionismus, expresionismus, symbolismus. Tendence v hudbě 2O. stol.
