Course objectives
Reading of some of Platos dialogues. Learning of the dramatic interpretation and the practical use of it.
Syllabus
  • The individuality of preserving of the Platos work. Stylometry, manuscripts, editions. The early dialogues (sofists, aporetics of Socrateses way of questioning, negative knowledge, the task for the general). The middle dialogues (classical theories: ideas, recollection, the good, of the immortality of the sole, paradox of knowlwdge). The last dialogues: Kratylus (philosophy of language), Theaitetus (philosophy of knowledge), Sofist (the one and the being)etc. Dogmatic and dramatic interpretation of the dialogues. The attempt to perform some of dialogues.
