It is presupposed that the students know the church slavonic phonological and morphological system.

Course objectives
Seminar follows with the Fundaments of Slavonic and Church Slavonic. There are analysed texts of Church Slavonic and the texts of the Czech language of the Renaissance and Baroque. The analysis is based on the morphology, lexicology and syntax, on the literature text, texts of sciences and on the texts of the administration. The purpose is recognising the stylistic characteristic of the texts of Renaissance and Baroque during the individual work with them.

  • 1. Texts of the Church Slavonic. 2. Phonological, morphological, lexical and syntactical characteristic of the texts of the Renaissance literature. 3. Phonological, morphological, lexical and syntactical characteristic of the Baroque texts. Individual analysis of the texts.
