Abstract
The aim of this subject is to strengthen knowledge and acquire skills in work with cartographic materials, during the orientation and measurement in field with a help of topographic apparatus and GPS. After successful completion of this course, students are able to orientate in the countryside, work with GPS and use it for thematic and topographic mapping, work with total station Nikon, measure distances and angles in a terrain and elaborate a topographic plan

Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
Fieldwork Teaching – 4 days and then elaboration of materials (autonomous work), attendance required to complete this course successfully, active work on workplaces and completion of particular tasks and submitting final protocol according to instruction of teacher.
