Course objectives
Main objective of this course is to acquire knowledge about the use of geoinformatics technologies in practice in teaching geography at primary and secondary schools. Students will learn to work with GIS (mainly with free downable applications), elaborate projects for the use of geoinformatics at schools, work with air and satellite images. It is also possible to use the interactive table.

  • Elaboration of own project (preparation, selection of topic, collection of materials and data, elaboration of work sheets for teachers and pupils)

Assessment methods
Practice; obligatory course; student is supposed to work independently in the GIS Laboratory. To complete this course successfully, it is necessary to prepare and present the project and made it accessible in the electronic form for its future use in practice, e.g. at schools.
