Course objectives
The course emphasizes the aspects of understanding the concept of beauty and its operation of axiological terms. It focuses on the development of aesthetics in the light of the philosophy of art and aesthetics of music and the specifics of fine arts. It analyzes the basics of art theory in the context of its development.
Syllabus
  • The aspects of understanding to notion of "beauty" and its functioning from the axiological point of view. Listing of development of aesthetics with view to philosophy of art. Specifications of the music aesthetics and fine art, elements of art theory in the context of its development. Mass culture and the phenomenon of kitsch. Artistic value, norm and function in art. The problem of the midcult (U. Eco). Extensive and intensive transitions in the arts. Artistic value, norm and function in the art.
