Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to explain Social pedagogy with basic Environmentalistic and Applied Ecology, especially in areas that were not ( at the time twenty years ago) a part of universal secondary education.
Syllabus
  • Man and his environment. (Environment-system composed of natural, artificial and social components of the material world, which are in constant interaction.) It is composed mainly air, water, rocks, soil, organisms and energy. Reason why is necessary interested in the environment (globally changing environment, the only species capable of self-reflection, the destruction of the environment threatens the man himself) Basic concepts of ecology (biosphere, ecosystem, ecological niche,species, population, community, food webs, chains, ecological stability, environment) Basic concepts of environmental science (landscape, protection and landscape reconstruction, protected areas, categorization, legislation) See Glossary Biosphere. Origin and evolution of communities, food webs. The theory of creation and extinction of species and populations. The current global challenges, ecological-environmental crisis.
