Course objectives
At the end of the course students will be able to use the main terminology of German syntax. Main topics: Essential terminology. Verbs with prepositions, congruency, negative, simple sentence. The course is based on "Moderní gramatika němčiny" by Berglová, Formánková, Mašek.
Syllabus
  • The coursebook "Moderní gramatika němčiny", chapters 14-18: verbs, nouns and adjectives with prepositions, temporal clauses, conditional clauses, the passive, infinitive in sentences.
