- Course objectives
- The contain of this course deals with the base concepts of the ontogenetical psychology. At the end of this course student should be able to:
- define and explaine the base conception in changes in child psyche with focus on preschool period.
- understand the developmental theories
- analyze the main changes in human progress in the individual period - Syllabus
- . Developmental psychology and its application in practise of teachers. 2. The factors of mental development and their governing principles. The interaction of the social environment, educatuion and genetics. 3. A brief description of changes in prenatal peroid and early stages of life. 4. Period of suckling age, toddler and its developmental changes. 6. Factors of developmental changes' acceleration in cognitive processes, expression and behaviour of pre-school age children, personality growth, fostering social skills. 7. School maturity, the chidren ability for school education. 8. The qualitative growth in the cognitive processes and emotional functions during childhood and pre-puberty, social factors, parental styles. 9. Adolescence. The devepopmental process of emotional functions, personal changes and cognitive processes in adolescence, education, creation, professional orientation, social facotors.
