Abstract

At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain ther basics of selected parts of probability and statitics.

Key topics

Combinatorial methods in probability theory.
Applications combinatorics, the principle of inclusion and exclusion.
Basic concepts of probability theory, conditional probability
Independent events Bernouilliovo schema.
Continuous and discrete random variables, their distribution and characteristics (mean, dispersion, correlation coefficient).
Basic concepts of descriptive statistics and their applications.
Statistical a set of basic characteristics and its testing of hypotheses, educational test.
