Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to: process data using office applications; use advanced features of text editors for their work; use advanced spreadsheet features editor; create educational presentations; oriented in the creation of web pages;
Syllabus
  • 1st The package of office programs, installation, components and the possibility of recovery. (Getting to the structure and contents of the package MS Office, a description of individual products, their selection and installation)
  • 2nd Text editors I. (Principles of work in a text editor   MS Word, creating and editing text, working environment)
  • 3rd Text editors II. (Advanced options for editing text, inserting objects, styles, instruments, ...)
  • 4th Table editors I. (Creation of the tables in   MS Excel, principles of   cells, the cells, the basic formula)
  • 5th Table editors II. (The formation of more complex patterns, address, instrument, creating graphs and editing the document)
  • 6th Electronic presentation I. (Use of MS PowerPoint presentation in creating and teaching materials, basic work ...)
  • 7th Electronic presentation II. (Presentation templates, inserting objects, timing, transitions, animation, print and e-mail. Presentation)
  • 8th Editors Webpage I. (The types of editors, www   in text editors and MS FrontPage, the concepts of link's URL, ...)
  • 9th Editors Webpage II. (Create a web page without knowing HTML, links and inserting objects on the page, dividing the area of the Web)
  • 10th Alternative office applications. (OpenOffice.org and online office programs - advantages and disadvantages)
  • 11th Networking and portability of documents. (Possibilities of cooperation of individual components of office packages, programs and various manufacturers work with office applications     MS Windows and other operating systems)
  • 12th Individual work on projects. (Repetition and individual work in accordance with the themes)
