Course objectives
At the end of the course, students should be able to: - identify attributes of transcultural writing, - describe in detail the issues and topics frequently discussed here, - get to understand the modern German fiction as a transcultural enterprise.
Syllabus
Impulses from theory. Basic concepts. Analysis of texts.
Literature
  • Boehringer, Hochreiter: ZEITENWENDE. Österreichische Literatur seit dem Millenium. (Entlehnbar in Moravska zemska knihovna).
Teaching methods
Seminar: reading, presenting results of literature search, discussion, group assingsments.
Assessment methods
For 1 ECTS point: reading test, regular attendance, results of literature search, facilitation of discussions in class For 2 ECTS points: additional essay
