Abstract
At the end of the course students will be able not only to understand the circumstances of the formation of the individual books of the Old Testament, but also on the basis of the acquired knowledge to describe the literary and theological character of them.
Key topics
Detailed introduction to all of the books of the Old Testament (including the circumstances of their formation, their literary characteristics, structure, content, theologies). Familiarization with the political and religious background of the Old Testament period.
