- Course objectives
- After successful completion of this course the student will -be familiar with basic terminology related to the field of alternative and augmentative communication -be able to communicate by using Pictograms, PECS system -become knowledgeable about basic of Sign in the speech. -be able to choose suitable form of alternative and augmentative communication for person with communication disorder
- Syllabus
- Communication – verbal, nonvebral. Communication process Alternative and augmentative communication Static systems, dynamic systems. Selection and application of AAK. Basic character inventory of Makaton and Symbol in the speech.

- Assessment methods
- The student will receive credit for: - processing and presentation of the project - AAC aid - written test (it is necessary to successfully cope with 75% correct answers). Other requirements will be communicated at the beginning of the course.
