Course objectives
Students will acquire theoretical knowledge in the field of personality and education of people with mental disabilities. The aim is for students to understand and explain the term mental disability in the context of the current concept of terminology in pedagogy persons with mental disabilities . Part of the course is to acquire the latest knowledge about the possibilities of education of pupils with mild mental disabilities , including joint training with intact pupils . Students should be able to present reasoned decision on the inclusion of pupils with mild mental disabilities into the educational system and to interpret his knowledge of advice and legislation.
Syllabus
  • 1. The terminological first starting with a focus on pupils with mild mental disabilities  . 2. Characteristics of mild intellectual disability (the specifics of personality, cognitive processes, variability developmental traits). 3. A circuit   pupils with mild mental disabilities. 4. consultancy services for pupils with mild mental disabilities  . 5. Pre-school education. Framework educational program for preschool education. Preparatory class of primary school. 6. Basic education of pupils with mild mental disabilities  . 7. Framework educational program for basic education. 8. Special educational diagnostics with a focus on pupils with mild mental disabilities     from the perspective of employee counseling. 9. Didactic principles, methods, forms and means of     education of pupils with mild mental disabilities from the perspective   counseling staff. 10. The therapy used in the 10th   the counseling services for children and pupils     with mild mental disabilities. 11. Specifics of teaching reading, writing and mathematics at     students with mild mental disabilities from the perspective of counseling   special educator. 12. Other educational areas in the     education of pupils with mild mental disabilities from the perspective of counseling   special educator. 13.
