Course objectives
The course follows the Athletics 1, 2 courses and its aim is an extension of the athletic knowledge and skills especially concerning methodics of the training of basic athletic disciplines, didactics guidelines when teaching athletics, topic of measuring, race coorindatio, etc.
Syllabus
  • 1. Improvement of the technique and methodics of running training, low start, throwing a ball (still or with run-up), high jump. 2. Preparatory exercises for the particular athletic disciplines. 3. Basic rules of athletic competitions, organisation of competitions at the primary school. 4. Methodics of the training of athletic skills by teaching experiments taking the age specialties and 1st grade primary school syllabus into account.
