Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able: to compare sentences in terms of grammar and meaning; to correct mistakes in sentences; to provide explanations and examples of their own; to analyze stretches of language and justify choices of structures, and identify the speaker's attitudes and intentions.
Syllabus
1. Pronouns of all kinds. 2. Pronoun adverbs, adverbial and pronominal functions. 3. Adverbs 4. Prepositions. 5. Conjunctions in co-ordinate and sub-ordinate clauses. 6. Exclamations. 7. Verb. Verb forms. Conjugation survey. Tenses and voices.

Lecture with active participation (70%). Seminar: Requirements for ending: written test (as a successful test is considered one with at least 70 % right answers).
