Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce classical euclidean constructions, geometric mappings, and fundamental methods of descriptive geometry.
Syllabus
  • Euclidean constructions and constructible quantities.
  • Geometry of circles and the problem of Apollonius.
  • Geometric mappings and their applications.
  • Mappings of the space to the plane, projections of some bodies and their plane intersections, determination of genuine relations and magnitudes.
