Course objectives
After completing the course students should be able to use basic knowledge from the area of ​​computer use to elementary school. Know the Function of the theoretical principles and practical PC work with computer technology to the extent necessary to teach at elementary school.
Syllabus
  • 1. basic concepts of information - information, resources, information institutions.
  • 2. structure, function and description of computers and peripherals.
  • 3. operating systems and their basic functions.
  • 4. introduction to file formats (doc, gif, ...)
  • 5. use of multimedia computer
  • 6. simple computer maintenance, procedures for common problems with hardware and software
  • 7. principles of safety and prevention of health risks associated with prolonged use of computer technology
  • 8. social flow of information (creation, transmission, transformation, processing, distribution of information)
  • 9. basic means of communication (e-mail, chat, phone)
  • 10. methods and tools for information retrieval
  • 11. formulation of requirements for Internet searching, search attributes
  • 12. basic functions of text editor
  • 13. basic functions of a graphical editor
