Course objectives
The lecture and seminar Morphology of Professional French 2 follows on from MPF 1 and presents another part of French grammar as a system. The course is devoted to another part of the French word types with all their specifics and use in professional texts. The aim of the course is to deepen theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of classification of other word types, grammatical categories and their use. Part of the interpretation is also a comparison of the Czech and French system of professional language.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students are able: apply in practice important theoretical knowledge from the field of word building; classify different parts of speech; analyze the text and specify individual vocabulary; correct mistakes in sentences; to identify the agreements and differences between the Czech and French languages; apply the acquired knowledge in reading and analysis of professional texts, but also in oral and written professional communication.
