Course objectives
After completing the course the student will be able to: undestand the key moments of modern metaphysics, epistemology and methodology, explain the basic principles of great philosophical conceptions of the era, interpret the thoughts and reasons of major modern philosophers, interpret selected philosophical texts.

Descartes: Way to Cogito ergo sum 5. J. Spinoza: Pantheism 6. G. W. Leibniz: Two worlds 7. J. Locke: His epistemiology 8. G. Berkeley: His relation to Locke 9. D. Hume: His Agnosticism 10. I.
