Abstract
Students will read some classical historical mathematical textbooks and will learn about the possibilities to use history of teaching of mathematics in mathematics teaching.
Learning outcomes
Successful graduates will be acquainted with old mathematical textbooks and will be able to make use of them in a lesson.

1.-2. Czech textbooks on arithmetics and geometry from the 1950s. 3.-6. Czech mathematical textbooks from the 1970s and 1980s. Comparison with selected foreign textbooks. 7.-10. Czech textbooks from the interwar period. 11.-12. Textbooks from the Middle Ages.
