Abstract
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to give an overview of the developmental periods of musical creation from the beginning to the present, in the theoretical level, which is complemented by the listening experience leading to the orientation of the basic features period styles and works by their prominent representatives.
Learning outcomes
Overview and orientation in 20th century music.
Key topics
Classic branch: impressionism, neoclassicism, neofolklorism. Avantgarde branch: atonal music, dodecaphony, serialism and multiserialism, timbre music, minimal music. Situation in the postmodern era.
