- Course objectives
- Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with the knowledge of etiology, classification, diagnostics and therapy of individual forms of impaired communication skills, with problems of logopedic intervention; He / she will focus on the methods, techniques and strategies of speech therapy; Principles of logopedic therapy, forms of speech therapy for individual types of impaired communication ability.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon successful completion of this course, the student will focus on etiology and symptomatology of individual types of impaired communication ability. He / she will be able to explain the basic principles of speech therapy intervention in people with impaired communication ability. It will be able to clarify the basic principles of interdisciplinary cooperation in speech therapy.
- Syllabus
- in relation to the topics discussed in the previous Speech Therapy Specialization, we will choose from the following topics: Developmental verbal dyspraxia - etiology, symptomatology, used procedures in speech therapy intervention, Phonological disorder - etiology, symptomatology, used procedures in speech therapy intervention, Specific learning disorders, specifics of speech in children with SPU, Mutism - etiology, complex support of persons with mutism, Balbuties - etiology, symptomatology, complex support of persons with balbuties, Tumultus sermonis - etiology, symptomatology, speech therapy intervention, Rhinolalia - etiology, classification, symptomatology, speech therapy intervention, Palatolalia - etiology, classification of clefts, characteristic features of palatolalia, comprehensive support of persons with palatolalia, Aphasia - etiology, classification, comprehensive support of persons with aphasia, Dysarthria - developmental, acquired. Aetiology, classification, symptomatology, principles of speech therapy intervention. Impaired communication skills as a special educational need, support options.
