Abstract
The goal of this course is to review the information on Latvian language gained in the main course of Latvian (BA_Lo3). In the second year of Baltic studies the communicative skills are deveoped in the first place. At the end of the course students should be able to: - improvise in Latvian in real communicative situations. - reproduce spoken text in his/her own words.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
communicate the given topics;
orientate himself in given grammar;
passivelly used some of participial constructions.

Lectures, class discussion, homework, reading, drill.
Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
Two written translations: one to the Latvian and one from the Latvian. Final exam: conversation in Latvian plus written test.
