Abstract
The aim of the subject is to deepen and complement specialized knowledge of a PhD student through comparison with academic environment, to cultivate their theoretical and practical skills within scientific communication by presentation of paper in a foreign language.
Content:
The specific content of the subject is connected with planned scientific activities of a PhD student concerning literary topics, more or less analogical to the prepared dissertation work of a PhD student.
Learning outcomes
After the completion of the course, the student shall be able:
- to express themselves in a sophisticated way in the foreign language;
- to use the foreign language in academic institutions;
- to write an academic text in the foreign language;
- to present an academic topic in the foreign language.
