Course objectives
The course is dealing with relations between theory of Prague Linguistic Circle and theatre of avantgarde. Then students will be able to independently search partical issues in this field.

The course is held in Czech.
Learning outcomes

At the end of the course student will be able to:
- describe historical and social context of 1st half of the 20th century;
- explain main thesis Prague Linguistic Circle;
- explain continuity of PLC theories in it's followers' texts;
- show interconnection of PLC and structuralism with contemporary theatre culture.
