Course objectives
The course is dealing with particular periods of Moscow Art theatre and its Studios from 1989 until 1938. Students have an opportunity to get to know historical documents: historical photos, video-record of Stanislavski at the rehaersal or a video-record of a remake Vakhtangov's Turandot. Certain lessons are devoted to the reading of selected chaptures of An Actor prepares, To the Actor and Six Lessons of Dramatic Art.

The course is held in Czech.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course student will be able to:
- define creative periods of K. S. Stanislavski and his pupils M. Czekhov and Y. B. Vakhtangov;
- interpret changes of artistic productions of Moscow Art Theatre;
- explain basic principles of K. S. Stanislavski's pedagogical approaches.
