Course objectives
The goal of this course is to gain experience with presentation of one's research on specialized forums abroad.
Learning outcomes
As an outcome, student will be actively participating in a conference abroad (not in Czech or Slovak Republic), where he/she will present partial results of his/her research.
Syllabus
  • Selection of an appropriate conference abroad.
  • Preparation of paper, consultation with advisor.
  • Presentation of the paper during the conference.
Teaching methods
Consultations with advisor, if appropriate also courses or consultations of presentation skills, work with presentation software.
Assessment methods
Student will be granted the credit upon active participation in a conference abroad with a paper relevant to his dissertation thesis. Credit will not be granted for papers presented in conferences in Slovakia.Attendance at the conference must be entered by the doctoral student into the information system.
