Course objectives
The excursions are conceived as intensive off-site seminars taking place in a specific cultural historical and geographical context, focused on instruction in the field and with the participation of external specialists. A component of the excusion is also the independent work of the students, particularly within the preparation of the fundamental factual synopses for the individual destinations.
Learning outcomes
The participants in the excursion will master the ability to orient themselves in the cultural context of the geographic space, both on the level of region or landscape and on the level of small local structures, learn to distinguish between these levels and highlight in historical questioning.
In practice, they will master the skills of work with several types of non-written sources. They will acquire orientation in the specific issue and ability to express themselves on it professionally. They will acquire experience applicable in the preparation of specialized and sightseeing trips or cultural programmes.

Teaching methods
The following instructional approaches are applied within the instruction: professional interpretation, field observation, visitation of cultural buildings and research and memory institutions, interview with witnesses, seminar discussion instruction, collective instruction.
