Course objectives
Methods and various approaches towards musical analysis.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to: 1) identify and explain main approaches of musical analysis 2) define individual periods regarding structure of the musical language 3) analyse vocal, instrumental and vocal-instrumental music 4) explicate texts from chosen treatises on music theory
Syllabus
  • The seminary is divided into four basic themes: • microtectonics • macrotectonics • analytical harmonics • melodical analyse
