- Abstract
- The development of Russian opera from the 1860s to the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will be able to understand the specifics of the individual composers and to capture the development tendencies in the Russian music of the given period.
- Key topics
- Tchaikovsky, Musorgskij, Korsakov, Borodin - videotractions and recordings are analyzed against the background of the main streams of Russian literature.
