Course objectives
The course summarizes and generalizes the knowledge of the Czech music terminology from the 14th to the 19th centuries.
Learning outcomes
The student will be able to define basic musical terms from a given time period.
Syllabus
  • Special attention is paid to the so calles Klaret lexis, Rešel's dictionary, terminologies of Jan Amos Komenský, Adam Michna z Otradovic, František Martin Pelcl and Jakub Jan Ryba.
