- Abstract
- The lecture cycle outlines the emergence of musicals from older vocal-instrumental stage works of opera and operetta. A theoretical explanation and discussion on the subject will be accompanied by videos of numerous musicals and commentary on the production issues.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will be able to recognize the main developmental tendencies of the opera, operetta and musical, to know the specific names of the authors of the music and the text.
