- Abstract
- Student consultations with the thesis advisor, which take place based on the needs of the student and with a view to the quality and completedness of the work. The minor thesis addresses a scholarly issue at a level appropriate to the degree being pursued. In the minor thesis the student must demonstrate the ability to work independently in keeping with academic standards, a knowledge and understanding of the relevant scholarly literature and the ability to analyze the issue under study.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon finishing this course, the student is able:
to define the topic of his thesis;
to explain the criteria applied for the selection of the topic, methodology and sources for his thesis;
to describe the methods applied in his/her thesis;
to compile a list of resources used;
to present and to defend his/her thesis at the final exam. - Key topics

The condition for granting credit is the submission of the bachelor's thesis to the archive in the Information System, no later than April 30 for the defense in June, June 30 / August 20 for the regular/remedial defense date in September, or by November 30 for the regular defense date in February. Upon submission of the final version of the thesis to the archive in the IS, the supervisor awards credit for the course JPN300 Bachelor's Thesis, thereby confirming the acceptance of the thesis for defense.
