Abstract
The aim of the course is to acquire academic competences for independent elaboration and presentation of an academic text. The course leads students to write a theoretical study based on scientific methods (analysis, comparison and synthesis). A secondary objective is to prepare students to acquire the skills to assess scientific texts.
Learning outcomes
Graduates of the course will be proficient in the skills needed to write a professional text. Specifically:
- Select and analytically process academic literature;
- create a functional outline for a text;
- write a coherent academic text on the selected topic supported by argumentation and sources;
- assess the quality of a academic text;
- write a review of a academic text;
- present and defend one's own academic text.
