Student se po zápisu předmětu přihlásí do seminární skupiny podle jazykového zaměření. Skupiny jsou otevírány jen v případě výskytu studentů dané specializace, pro které je předmět povinný. V ostatních případech kontaktuje příslušného vyučujícího (doc. Krejčí - jihoslovanské jazyky, dr. Juříčková - ukrajinština, dr. Madecki - polština). - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the style, text and discourse levels of contemporary Polish, Ukrainian or South Slavic languages (the course will be divided into seminar groups according to the language of the students). The subject of interest is the description of contemporary language norm, language usage and codification, social and regional stratification of language including description of language varieties, detailed characterics of functional styles, role and signification of style forming factors by text formation. The aim of the subject is also the notion of language culture in the field of theory and practice. Theoretical knowledge will be exercised by analysis of authentic texts of various functional styles.
- Learning outcomes
- The students of the course will be able at the end of the course:
- to explain basic stylistic theories and concepts and use them in practice;
- to characterize the language varieties ;
- to characterize functional styles;
- to use stylistic terminology;
- to prepare a presentation on the theme of the chosen functional style;
