- Abstract
- The seminar provides a comprehensive overview of the principles for critical editing, the most important tools for the study of literary texts, as well as the principles for transcribing literary texts. Specific excerpts serve as the basis for practising editorial techniques.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, students will be able to:
- be familiar with critical editions of medieval Latin and vernacular texts
- provide access to a critical text of a medieval Latin literary work preserved in a small number of manuscripts - Key topics
